An estimated 25,000 from the state of New Mexico served during the Korean War era. In total, 200 from the state never returned home from Korea, including 44 POW/MIAs who still remain unaccounted for.

This memorial located in the city of Albuquerque pays tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice. They will not be forgotten.
