Memorial Site
This memorial located inside a city park in Incheon is dedicated to Colombia. Colombia was the only Latin American nation that participated in the Korean War. Between 1951 and 1954, 5,100 young men volunteered to fight. 1,000 sailors served aboard five fleets, and 611 sailors were killed.
Out of the 5,100 men who volunteered to fight, 163 died, 448 were wounded, and 28 were captured.
